Leaving Corfu

Today has been incredibly rough. It took me two hours to eat breakfast, and yet another two hours to move about 200 yards down to the beach.

Before you point and laugh and snicker, let me just assure you, that it hurts to move when your skin is on fire. It hurts very much.

With some luck, we will leave Corfu tonight to head up to exotic (not) Bari, and from there we'll catch the train to Milano in the morning. The next 24 hours will be ferry, wait, ferry, wait, train, wait.

To be honest, Pink Palace has been great, but it's not really traveling. It's not really exploring another part of the world. It's the Cancun of Greece, and we got some much needed R&R (why yes, alcohol and no sleep is part of said R&R). But really, we are anxious to get back to really traveling, backpacking, and walking from morning to night.

We're anxious to get back on the road again.

Oof, that sucks. I'll have to remember sun tan when I take off tommorow to go camping for the weekend. Well, not really the weekend considering it's Wednesday, but my employer is rather lax :P)

Just remember, cold whole milk wrapped in a towel around that sunburn or some aloe vera. Should hopefully help do the trick. No more sun for you though. 2 years.
